Below is a photo of another student and myself alongside Matthijs Siljee, a senior professor at Massey University and Mira simons, the NZ ambassador of the Netherlands. The brief was to create sustainable models of the logos designed by dutch design consultancy studio BumBar that could be taken to events. What we did was tear apart a bunch of dutch wooden shipping containers. We then squared them off and puzzled them together to create two large sheets that could then be laid on the CNC to get the shapes cut out. When then used flexible ply to box them up and gave it the famous Netherland orange stain.
The projects you see on this below are all ones I have done in my spare time. The brief I gave myself for these projects was "go wild" I wanted to make some concepts that helped me practice my CAD ability and try new and different things that I couldn't under a university brief.
